Tool Check And Calibration
Under our registration we are able to offer the facility to repair / test and calibrate tooling used in the application of cable connectors, in accordance with the directives of BS-EN ISO Procedures (Bureau Veritas Quality International).

It is very important that tooling compression is monitored regularly.

Davico offer the facility to test and calibrate (where appropriate), all of our products and the majority of tools manufactured in the market place, at our modern in-house test laboratory.

Checks are conducted by using the latest tensile test, resistance test and moisture test technology, together with GO and NO GO gap gauging and pressure gauge reading our experienced engineers are able to provide customers with comprehensive reports and Certificates of Conformity on the products being analysed to all relevant National Standards.

Correct calibration is an important function of meeting National Standards for service and maintenance.

Frequency
Re-calibration should be implemented at a minimum of once per annum, and possibly more dependant on the number of tools in service and how often they are used.

On-Site Visits
We are also able to provide an onsite calibration service for the repair and calibration of Davico hand ratchet / pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools. This can be beneficial if customers find it difficult to return tools to ourselves due to production constraints.

Maintenance
The maintenance procedures are implemented as detailed in the Davico quality manual.

All hand and hydraulic tools can be serviced or repaired as required.

Service checks include the replacement of oils seals, reservoirs, stops, etc where applicable.

All equipment used in the process of testing and calibration is traceable to UKAS standards and procedures.
